Every day, we show up for someone who needs a hand up.
Sometimes it’s a child taking their first steps in a Head Start classroom.
Sometimes it’s a veteran finally finding a safe place to sleep.
Sometimes it’s a family keeping the heat on through a tough winter… or a survivor finding their voice again with the right support beside them.
We see these moments every day in my work at WestCOP (Westchester Community Opportunity Program). They may seem small from the outside—but for the people we serve, they are everything.
For more than 60 years, WestCOP has stood beside our neighbors across the Hudson Valley—supporting families facing housing instability, poverty, domestic violence, and more. We meet people where they are, and we don’t turn them away.
We believe deeply in this work because we see its impact firsthand.
