This retooled breakfast is a partnership between The Thomas H. Slater Center, WestCOP’s White Plains Community Action Partnership & Authentic Church in White Plains. Seven years ago on May 19, 2012, Authentic Church spearheaded a community breakfast event in collaboration with WestCOP’s White Plains Community Action Partnership to serve the residents of the Ferris Avenue Neighborhood. Breakfast on Ferris was explosively successful with hundreds of residents of that neighborhood attending and enjoying a fresh breakfast composed of eggs, pancakes, bacon and a variety of fruits, bagels and beverages. The breakfast took a hiatus but now returns in a more expansive format and a wider reach.
