Early Childhood Programs
Giving Children a Head Start through Comprehensive Quality Care

Children are born ready to learn, but those whose families struggle often don’t receive the best opportunities to develop and grow. The disparities in their earliest years multiply as they get older, affecting every aspect of their adult lives: academics, health, social skills, career, and earnings.

Through WestCOP’s Head Start-based early childhood programs in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties, nearly 2,000 children and their families receive the quality early care and education and holistic support services they need. Our goal is to create an environment where every child and family has the opportunity to meet their potential.
