Rockland Community Action Partnership (R.C.A.P.)

The mission of RCAP is to mobilize and efficiently manage resources through partnerships and collaborations that will assist the low-income and at-risk populations in Rockland County to achieve greater self-sufficiency.

Rockland Community Action Partnership has offices located in the Villages of Spring Valley and Haverstraw. RCAP is located at Louis Kurtz Civic Center, 9 N. Main Street, Spring Valley NY, and 17 West Board Street, West Haverstraw, NY 10927.

FOOD PANTRY:

RCAP’s Food Pantry is open between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM at the Haverstraw and Spring Valley CAP sites. The food pantry is open to residents of Rockland County who meet the criteria based on some of the following factors: number of residences in the household, and income of said household. Registration is required to access any of the services of the CAP. Groceries are purchased from the Regional Foodbank.

A major focus of the ROCKLAND CAP is the development and strengthening of community partnerships and the continued development of relationships with referral services and client education.
