Greenburgh Community Action Partnership
Located inside the Theodore D. Young Community Center at 32 Manhattan Avenue, White Plains, NY, this WestCOP component consists of outreach and advocacy, information and referral, strategies to relieve neighborhood problems through programs which foster self-sufficiency. Greenburgh/Elmsford Community Action Partnership’s primary target group has traditionally been low income persons including women, minority populations, ex-offenders, substance abusers, displaced homemakers, dislocated workers and youth.

- ENERGYSHARE Con Edison Assistance
- Back to School Clothes for Kids Program
- Food Pantry and Green Thumb Distribution
- Furniture Sharehouse Program
- Eviction Prevention Program
- Greenburgh CAP and Not Just Gowns Prom Program
- Holiday Giving Program
Since its inception, Greenburgh/Elmsford Community Action Partnership has operated a variety of programs that have made staff fully familiar with the needs of the town’s disadvantaged population by:
- identify local needs
- provide vital resources to neighborhood and community groups
- secure professional and technical assistance
- provide direct services to individuals who have nowhere else to turn
